EN. Born in Houston and raised in Katy, TX, Megan sang and played piano for her church’s youth group before adding guitar to her repertoire. In December 2009, the high school student debuted by posting on YouTube a cover of the Kings of Leon’s “Use Somebody” featuring her singing and playing acoustic guitar. Since then, her cover of Bruno Mars’ “The Lazy Song” has attracted more than 38 million views, Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” 13 million-plus, Maroon 5’s “Payphone” 12 million-plus, One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” 9 million-plus and many more.
